So this is the chosen shot of the day... I thought I'd be fun to have one of those caption contests here! So write a caption for this photo and post it and I'll pick a winner! The winner will get a very special prize!!!
The day had started well. Jeffrey the squirrel had gotten up at the crack of dawn, well before the rest of his family was even stirring. He had been quiet leaving the log where he had grown up, careful not to wake any of his 13 brothers and sisters. Today was a special day, today his Mom turned 5 years old. Jeffrey had always been really close to his Mother, she had raised him and his siblings alone for the most part. He wasn’t sure what had happened to his Father and every time he had asked about him his Mom became very quiet with a far off look in her eye and gasped something about evil shiny boulders. He didn’t push for more detail, bless her but sometimes his mother made very little sense.
Jeffrey had earlier in the week found the most perfect acorn he had seen in his life. It was long, a bit slender but that just meant that the flavors would be richer. His mother adored acorns, they were her sole indulgence. Jeffrey was so excited when he found it he almost had forgotten to mark where the odd pyramid stone he had hidden it under. Now he was making his way back to that hiding place in a bit of a hurry hopefully he could be back in time to surprise his Mom. That odd bright stone was exactly where he had left it, and under it was the prize. He gently picked it up with his teeth, and took off back for the log. He had to hurry now, the sun was getting larger and brighter, it wouldn’t be long before his Mom would be too busy tending to the younger siblings to enjoy his gift. Jeffrey ran through the forest scampering over tree trunks and bouncing off of branches. He had taken too long finding that stupid stone again, He wasn’t going to make it back in time. His only chance was to take the shortcut through the hard dirt river. The river was only a river in form, in truth it was a flat unnaturally hard strip of land that Jeffrey had been warned to avoid for fear of…..well he wasn’t sure. He headed that direction and after a couple more minutes of scrambling arrived at the edge. Jeffrey took off across the hard strip of land, it felt unusual to be running on something so solid, with very little to sink his toes into and increasingly heavy vibrations. The vibrations were getting much more violent, Jeffrey had never felt anything like this before. He stopped and stood on his hind legs, trying to decide what was causing such an incredible noise. Suddenly, behind him a loud “Roar” Jeffrey turned just in time to see a glimpse of the cause of the noise, it was humongous and shiny and much too quick. BAM! Suddenly Jeffrey was under it, the noise and heat were incredible. And just as quickly the large shiny boulder with the words “Tahoe” on the back was gone again, leaving Jeffrey alone and unable to continue home. He couldn’t see his acorn anywhere around him but for some reason it was getting dark outside anyway. And he was tired, he would just take a quick nap in this river and head home when he felt better. Yeah, just a quick nap. The day had started so well too.

Darth Vader's misuse of the Force began early in life...
whoas! I'm late on this one. Can I vote, though? Cause Bekah definitely had me cracking up...
or maybe,
